#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 30 - A FRIEND

This is my second oldest friend, my oldest friend is in Australia so don't see as much. Viv is such a neat friend. She is always bubbly and cheerful and always there for her friends when they are feeling down for some reason. I am glad to have her as a friend and thank you Sue for introducing me to her all those years ago.

I found a lovely old red umbrella at the op shop for two dollars and thought it would be lovely for photo shoots. It really lifts the photos.

#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 25 - SOMETHING CUTE

I thought Jolie looked cute in the cardigan I made her. I like the way she is reflected in the puddle.

#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 23 - ON YOUR MIND

The weather has been turning cold in the last few days so I thought it would be a good idea to get my breadmaker out and also do some baking.

#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 23 - MOVEMENT

I love this photo that I was fortunate enough to get with the sunset behind the birds. The lighting was so beautiful that day.

#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 20 - FAVORITE PHOTO YOU HAVE EVER TAKEN

This was a very hard thing to choose because when you like photography it is difficult to pick a favorite one out. However recently my sister visited me from Australia and I loved this one of her especially when she said she doesn't think she is photogenic.

#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 18 - SOMETHING WE DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU

Something you don't know about me is that ever since I was little I loved to dance. The first photo is of me when I was little and did ballet. The second photo is of me doing Line dancing which I did for about five years. I have done some salsa too and do miss not dancing. Something I may get back into soon.

#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 10 - BEST BIT OF YOUR WEEKEND

My best part of the weekend was Peter and I got to hang out with my granddaughter while her mum was doing a film shoot. We took her to the library and then came home. We minded her until ten oclock that night, which was a first for us and her and was pleased it all went well. This is photo of Peter giving Jolie a piggy back ride.

#PHOTO A DAY - JUNE 9 - YOUR VIEW TODAY

This lovely dog was sitting at the table in front of us.
My dear friend took this photo of me. We were having a coffee and taking in the view in the background.

JACKY'S PICKS - JUNE - A PHOTO OF PRODUCT YOU WOULD SELL SHOWING OFF TO BEST ADVANTAGE

Unlike my sisters who are selling there art, at present I am not. But if I was I would probably sell the cakes stand that I made and the beautiful bone china that I have collected.

JACKY'S PICKS - JUNE - WILDLIFE

Today my friend and I went for a walk and took the opportunity to take my camera with me to take photos of wildlife for Jacky's choice. I was very pleased that there was so much choice of animals.

This is my favorite shot. The bird is called a Pukeko and I think it is a native bird to New Zealand, although my friend said there is a similar bird in Australia.

This was a very unusual shot of a Pukeko. He had something wrong with his leg. He was under a tree that had shed a carpet of autumn leaves on the ground.

These two black swans were interesting as they were together all the time we were watching them.

We were very fortunate to see this mother swan and six babies. When we were feeding them the father was scaring the other birds away so they could feed.

JACKY'S PICKS - JUNE - CLOUDS

I love the different colors of these clouds. It shows that either a storm or wet weather is coming.

JACKY'S PICKS - JUNE - HERITAGE HOUSE

This is Highwic house. Unfortunately could only get this photo as the rest of the house was under renovations. This was a family home for two wifes and twenty one children.

SHARON'S PICK FOR JUNE - HAVING FUN

SHARON'S PICK FOR JUNE - CHURCH

These last three pictures of churches look very similar in style. The last two pictures are of the same church front and back.

SHARON'S PICK FOR JUNE - MOTION SHOT

Yesterday I was looking after my granddaughter Jolie. I took her to Chipmunks to play. The look on her face here shows me she had a mixture of fear and excitement. I know how she feels because I did it with her as well. She really wanted me to join in with her so nana had to step up to the plate, wonky knees and all.

SHARON'S PICK FOR JUNE - OLD HOUSE
