PHILLIPA'S PICK FOR OCTOBER - SHED

| This is the last of my posts for October. I have been using my old Sony Cybershot when I don't want to be carrying around my SLR as it is quite heavy. I am still impressed with the shots it takes and has a good zoom as well. |

Q - IS FOR QUARRY

| This is a quarry in Waihi in the Coromandel. The town gets a lot of their income from the families who work here. Unfortunately just recently they have had to put a lot of miners off as it wasn't paying. |
O - IS FOR OLD
 |
| This is an old chinese miners house in Arrowtown. We had a look inside. They must have had it very hard in those days and a lot of them had left their families back in China. They were trying to earn enough money to be able to return to their homeland and buy a small farm. Very few returned. They were very resourceful though. They had really big vegetable gardens which they all shared the produce. |

| I don't have any blue and white china now to take photos of so am doing flowers. Dear Peter was a model for me. He is lying down with the photos on his chest. What a sweetie. I liked the way his shirt showed the blue and white. |

| Today was Jolie's 3rd Birthday. This was her at the Albany shopping centre. Notice the pink reflection on the tiles. The clothes were from nana. She looks a free spirit here doesn't she. |
