BIRD

This was my favorite shot. I think from memory I put my camera onto Aperture mode. If this is any help the details of the photo are ISO: 150 100mm f/14 1/160.

BIRD

A few months ago Peter and I were in a cafe in Waihi on the way back from Tauranga  and I was fortunate enough to have my camera handy. We were sitting in the outside area of this lovely cafe and I got some shots of this bird.

RAIN

It is raining here and I like the way the raindrops gathered on my lantern.

MERRY XMAS FROM NEW ZEALAND

MERRY XMAS FROM NEW ZEALAND

I know my sisters will be familiar with the beautiful pohutakawa tree also known as the New Zealand christmas tree. It is a very resilient tree and quite often grows by hanging off the cliffs by the beach. There is a saying that if the tree flowers early it is going to be a hot summer.

MERRY XMAS FROM NEW ZEALAND

It was funny Jacky, I remember you saying take a photo of the chaos afterwards. I tried to take photos of all the leftovers wrappings but Tony was being very orginised and taking them away as soon as they were opened. So this was as close to the aftermath as I could manage.
