MY PICKS FOR APRIL

This is my pick for April guys and because I might not be able to get out too much have chosen a couple from my file, just in case.

VINTAGE

Hey sisters you can tell I am feeling better, yeh. Well better than yesterday anyway. Peter shifted the computer onto the coffee table and that has really helped. Peter took this photo a month or two ago. It was such a lovely vintage car but the background detracted from its beauty. The Apple computer has some wonderful apps that you can buy online for only a few dollars and they are such fun if you want to try something different. This app is called great photo lite. Once you have downloaded the app it shows up your icons. You go into it and download a photo. Then you choose color splash and it comes up in black and white and on the right hand side you make the brush smaller and then wallah you use a steady hand on your mouse you start coloring in. I do the edge first and then make the brush larger to fill it in. Awesome aye.

PHIL'S PICKS FOR FEBRUARY - PRESENT

I have been sick for the last couple of weeks. My daughter and granddaughter came over to take me for ultrasound scan. This was the lovely cyclamen given to me and it was a beautiful pink with a white edge.

PHIL'S PICK FOR MARCH - BRUSSEL SPROUTS

I have been out of action for over a week as I have really done some damage to my hamstring muscles so haven't been able to get out and take photos. However I brought these brussel sprouts today. I have been very fortunate as Peter has been looking after me and doing the cooking. The photo below was our dinner and it was very tasty as I don't normally like this vegetable.

This mushroom was growing in the garden and only about two inches long so very challenging to photograph.

I could not resist putting this photo in even though it was taken three years ago when we were living in Bondi, Sydney. This beautiful rockface was at our doorstep where we used to walk. I love the different colors of the rock and how it has weathered over the years.

PADDY'S PICKS FOR MARCH - STREET ART

I love the colour of this image. I can see the cat behind him but can't figure out if is a crystal ball he is holding but thought it was very magical.

I don't know if this is considered street art or graffiti but these last three images were taken in France, the last two in Paris.

I brought these three cactus for my kitchen window. I love the different shapes.

Don't they look pretty when they are out in flower.
