This used to be an Indian restaurant and walked passed today and noticed this new restaurant. I loved the artwork and the owner let me take some photos. Luckily I had my IPhone.

I took this photo as the lights started to come on. It was a very popular event with lots of families present. Also had a band playing.

NEW PLYMOUTH - SCULPTURES IN THE MAKING

These people were down by the beach doing sculptures. Rather a messy and noisy hobby. These was even a couple of women doing it. I saw the opportunity of taking photos of them with the dust gathering around at the same time not getting too close as to get dust in my camera.

This guy was taking a break and having a chat to a guy sitting on the rocks.

OHAU RIVER - LEVIN

WAITARERE BEACH LEVIN

I have just returned from holiday down in Levin, about one hour from Wellington. This is the place my partner grew up in and this beach was where he spent a lot of his time. You can see the South Island from here.

Lovely dog but don't think I would like to have the food bill to feed him.

Lovely shot of this cute little girl playing quite happily on her own.

This is the only remains of the ship Hydrabad which sunk about eighty years ago. As a child Peter played on the wreck. Now you can only see these remains and they are way on the beach amongst the sand dunes.
