SHARON'S PICK FOR AUGUST - ANIMAL

Last Friday Peter took the day off work (Cass, Jolie and Tony headed off to the states and I was feeling down). We found this amazing shop with really different things.  The lady kindly let me take photos.

The photos were taken on my phone so not the clearest. The building was an old Power Station. In one of the rooms it had curved glass blocks as a feature.

This antelope is not real, it is made of resin and the horns come off. I thought it was lovely and loved the color of it. Peter brought it for me and is now on our wall at home next to the rams skull.

MY PICKS FOR AUGUST

These are my picks for this month. We still have more spring, our lambs are just starting to be born. I hope I have spelt barrista correct, in case I haven't I mean photos taken of people in cafes making coffee. The others are self explanatory.

SHARON'S PICK FOR JULY - PEOPLE

I noticed this older couple and thought how trendy they were. They looked as though they could have been European.

SHARON'S PICK FOR JULY - PEOPLE

This is my neighbour and friend Glen. Nice how the colors are the same.

He was very helpful for me as Cassandra was in Melbourne for three nights and the first overnight from her mum.

Another little girl who loves pink.

PADDY'S PICKS FOR JULY - OUT AND ABOUT

Today was a very misty day so tried to get some shots. These were taken at the Ellerslie Racecourse.

This kingfisher was hard to get close to as he was aware of me with the camera.

These angel photos were taken at a cemetery near us. I have taken photos here before but discovered these ones as well. There was a bit of mist around but not much.

Isn't this angel pretty. I love the little star on her forehead.

The beautiful trees make a nice backdrop.

PHILLIPA'S POST FOR JULY - UMBRELLA

I cheated and took this photo and bottom photo of the TV. This is a show that is in Auckland at the moment which I would love to see. I love the hats and the looks of the clowns. I put it under umbrella as the bottom photo has an umbrella.

I was trying to think outside the square as I haven't seen many umbrellas around, so I headed off to the two dollar shop and brought these little umbrellas to put in drink.
