PHILLIPA'S PICKS FOR JULY - VEGETABLES/VEGETABLES

Today we went to La Cigale Market (cigale means grasshopper in french) and they had the most beautiful looking fresh vegetables.


These are black carrots. Look interesting, not sure what they would taste like.

Do you girls recognise these. They are Jerusalem artichokes. I remember having these to eat as kids and remember how sweet they tasted.

    I remember the artichokes, I liked them too, I remember them down the lane, towards Auntie Pearls place.

    Love the colours in the cauliflower.
