LOCUST




I was out hanging the washing out and noticed this very large locust sitting on the washing. The sun and light was on him showing his beautiful colors. It surprised me as I thought they were just brown.

    the colours are very vibrant when the sun catches them. I wonder if the male is more colourful than the female. Lovely photo Paddy.
