For some reason photos I take can look beautiful and focused but when I post them they don't look clear. This is one of them.

There is a lovely hill overlooking the city that is just full of flowers (I think they are Jonquils). The perfume was beautiful.

My best friend and I went to a cafe that is just around the corner from our house in Methuen Road called Sweeties. I loved the presentation of there food and how they used old stuff to decorate the cafe. It wasn't a big cafe but had all big windows looking out.

Check out the size and color of these meringues. Not a good cafe for someone wanting to lose weight.

Check out the pink coffee machine.

This was a wall at the side of the shop.

I love old silver dishes and think they look so good with cacti. I first saw it in Pinterest and was later inspired when I saw Jacky's.

PADDY'S PICKS FOR JULY - OUT AND ABOUT

Yesterday Peter and I went to Ambury Regional Park which is only about twenty minutes from the city. It had lots of wonderful photo opportunities and was a nice day although sometime a bit too sunny to show off the beautiful colors of the animals.

I loved the way this lovely old turkey was displaying his plume. The paterns are beautiful.

Hasn't he got lots of character in his face.

We were walking towards the beach and in this paddock Peter spotted this beautiful family in a pond all to themselves. We weren't sure which track to take and luckily we took this one. Otherwise we would not have seen them. Great photo opportunity.

I found this branch in the paddock so put it in between the rocks.

PADDY'S PICKS FOR JULY - OUT AND ABOUT

My friend and I were out walking and came across these amazing color mushrooms. These were also taken with my IPhone as I didn't have my camera on me. Aren't the colors amazing.

I don't know if you can see the image in this tree but in the bottom centre of the tree the stump to me looks like a cuckaburra. It was hard to get the picture light enough so you may have to work your imagination, and no I hadn't been eating the magic mushrooms above to form my opinion.

This is the first photo I have put on my blog that was taken on my new IPhone4. It seems to take nice photos. We found a cafe that specialized in cupcakes. This one had a mango topping and was very nice.
