WAITARERE BEACH LEVIN

I have just returned from holiday down in Levin, about one hour from Wellington. This is the place my partner grew up in and this beach was where he spent a lot of his time. You can see the South Island from here.

Lovely dog but don't think I would like to have the food bill to feed him.

Lovely shot of this cute little girl playing quite happily on her own.

This is the only remains of the ship Hydrabad which sunk about eighty years ago. As a child Peter played on the wreck. Now you can only see these remains and they are way on the beach amongst the sand dunes.

  2. I agree with Sharon the sea seems to have a mystical quality that the beaches here don't have,
