JACKY'S PICK AUGUST - BARE BRANCHES

We noticed a lot of the bare trees down in the South Island were quite black. Not sure whether it is due to the cold weather or snow.

This picture was taken on the waterfront of Queenstown. The trunks were very interesting, they look like eyes.

Taken in Arrowtown. I love the old cottages. In autumn the whole town is ablaze with autumn leaves.

  3. the twisted branches on the first photo are really interesting, wonderful patterns on the middle one and of course the little cottages but it looks as if the trees have little yellow buds on the branches, is that what they where...
