JACKY'S PICK SEPTEMBER - BUDGET MEAL

Our groceries have been a bit small lately so today had to find something to cook for tea with what I had in the cupboards. So I had five chicken breasts which I added an onion and sweet potatoe.

I had a tin of pasta sauce so I added that and put some crushed dried garlic.

So that was all I added. I thickened it with some Cornflour and had with rice.

    It was quite nice. The tomatoes can be a bit strong.

    Sometimes it helps to just use what you have on hand to challenge you, looks tasty Paddy, instead of tin sauce I use fresh tomatoes, but doesn't help if you don't have them on hand aye?

    Yes and especially when tomatoes are $12 a kilo.
